Rich: Great guitar player, better friend

So this is the man that is laying down all the tasty electric guitar tracks on the upcoming songs I am recording for the one month one song challenge. I couldn't be more fortunate to have such an experienced artist helping me craft tones and sounds for these songs. Rich is limitless when it comes to ideas concerning all things musical.

Let me give you a bit of history... albeit very short.

A year ago when I first came to ALC Rich was the guy I was replacing as music director. Talk about a possible weird situation... especially since he wasn't going anywhere. He did a great job though and his leadership had shown through as his time as the music director. He had the respect of the artist's on stage and led the music team through a very tough time and really helped the whole team come through it. His leadership is priceless to our team as he continues to set the bar higher and challenge each of us to be better. Rich leads without words. The committed excellence to his art is evident every time he straps on a guitar or sings and it makes you (me) want to be better. Thats what good leaders do, they inspire and Rich inspires. He inspires our team to work harder and be better prepared without ever having to utter a word. We are all better because of him.

Rich is also a great resource for all young musicians to learn from. His work ethic is one to model and pursue if you ever plan on being serious about music and art. I am grateful to have such a resource I can pick the brain of and learn from.

Thank you for all you do Rich.
